Dear Meadowlane Families,

I am very sorry to announce that David Owen, husband of our School Crossing Guard, Anne Owen, passed away on Friday, January 10. The school was made aware of this information this morning. Many of you know Anne Owen (Mrs. O) as our super positive, caring Crossing Guard on the corner of Forestwood Drive and McGarry Drive. We know that many of you are friends with Mrs. O and wanted to pass on this information to you.

Visitation is today at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Westheights Community Church, 82 Westheights Drive, Kitchener on Wednesday, January 15, at 1pm.
