Our fabulous School Council has organized Meadowlane’s 3rd Annual Science Fair. It will take place Thursday, May 5th from 6-7:30 pm and Friday, May 6th from 9:10-11am.
We had a very interesting kick-off assembly today and had the chance to meet the Eastwood First Robotics team and the robot that they created. Did you know that robots could shoot hoops? We didn’t either but we saw it in action. The robot will be in a competition (playing basketball!) on April 2nd at University of Waterloo. Look for more information posted to this website.
I think that our students are thinking hard about the exciting science inventions they can create with their families. An information and sign up letter was sent home with all students today. If they wish to participate, please return the sign-up sheet by next Wednesday. Here is a package with more information:
