Dear Families,

Anne Owen, our beloved Crossing Guard, has decided to retire. As many of you are aware, Anne recently lost her husband and is also dealing with some personal health issues and has decided to retire from her position. Our students made a giant card for Anne and we took that over to her last week, along with a huge thank you and best wishes from staff. Anne has been moved by the support of the school and the community. Anne loved our students and families at Meadowlane and she will be missed.

Mr. Doug Miehm has been hired as a permanent replacement for Anne and he is currently crossing our students. Please say hello to Doug and welcome him to our community.
