There are 2 Nutrition Breaks. Each Nutrition Break is 40 minutes long. During each break, students eat in their classrooms for 20 minutes and go outside to play for 20 minutes. 

All kindergarten classrooms have an adult supervisor and remain inside during nutrition breaks.  Kindergarten classes all go outside for outdoor learning.

 The use of recyclable containers is encouraged to diminish the amount of waste generated in our school and to promote a waste-free lifestyle. Don’t forget to send re-usable plastic cutlery with your child, when required. 

Please remember that Meadowlane is a nut-sensitive environment as there are several children with life-threatening allergies. Please avoid sending all nut products to school, including products such as ‘Wow Butter’ that mimic the look of peanut butter.
